New York City is hosting a wonderful event alongside the World Cup called ALREADY HOME World Cup '26 - the NYC Neighborhood Passport & National Storytelling Initiative. It's great and AMT is a proud passport stamp venue. The core idea is that every team coming to play in the World Cup already has a home in immigrant communities that have been building, connecting, and moving NYC for generations.

Our new musical, The Paparazzi is closing this weekend and while that is sad, we had a good run. I will miss the happy voices of the 16 strong cast and musicians coming in to get ready for each performance. They have had such a great vibe, laughing and joking with each other and hopefully creating lasting bonds.

Despite Storm Fern and the frigid temperatures our friends and supporters joined us for an evening of celebrating all things Horton Foote and increasing our theater knowledge.

For this first Theater IQ of 2026 we have joined forces with Horton by the Stream, and The Church of St Mary the Virgin, for our Winter Theater IQ Reading on January 24, 2026 at 7pm in St Joseph's Hall in the Church of St Mary the Virgin.

It takes a village to run a theater and produce a new musical, thank you to everyone in the AMT Village for helping us make DAVID a success.
