AMT Youth theater summer camp!

AMT Youth Theater is running a Braodway Musical Intensive this summer and if you know what's good for you or the kids in your life then get them registered right now!

I know some parents and children out there think that theater camps are not for them because they don't see themselves as performers or they are shy, but this shouldn't stop you from coming to see what we do because camps like these develop so many more skills than just performance ones. Children will learn how to be more confident, access their imagination through their bodies and voices as well as meeting new people and opening their minds to a whole new way of looking at the world. AMT Youth Theater offers a safe space for children to explore their creative sides.

Mary Lauren is directing this camp and she is just amazing. She designed this camp and will bring out the best in every child there. Come learn from professional working artists right in the middle of the theater district! You will have tons of fun in a compassionate and welcoming environment.

The Intensive will include training in acting, singing, dancing, storytelling, auditioning and writing. Each child will come out with a song and monologue for auditions. They will also receive a video of their performance. We will be working on two big broadway numbers, solos, and we will be writing an original monologue for each child.

There will also be two special workshops available for an add on price. Musical Theatre History with Marc Bonanni of Broadway By Ghost light and Puppetry by Bryan Seastrom, who is fresh off the national tour of Anastasia.
